The time has come! We are thrilled to announce the return of our annual Balaton Summer School (BSS). This year, we are diving into a highly anticipated topic that many of you have been waiting for: High-Energy Physics.
Get ready to learn from leading experts in the field, who will introduce you to the latest technological breakthroughs and cutting-edge research. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the most exciting and fast-evolving branches of physics.

BSS will take place in the beautiful city of Balatonfüred, located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton in Hungary. With its stunning views of the lake and surrounding hills, Balatonfüred is a popular tourist destination known for its natural beauty and vibrant culture. Visitors can explore the charming streets of the historic town center, take a dip in the refreshing waters of Lake Balaton, or enjoy local cuisine and wine at one of the many restaurants and wineries in the area. The city is easily accessible by public transportation and offers a comfortable and convenient base for attending the Summer School.

Participation fees are the following:
For members of Mafihe/IAPS: 40.000 HUF / 110 EUR
For others: 45.000 HUF / 130 EUR

The participation fee includes the price of the accommodation, breakfast and dinner for the whole week. It does NOT include the traveling fee to or from the location of BSS.
