Dear sir or madam,
The Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) is now inviting students in
natural sciences, especially physics, and related areas to join our
research
teams during the time between July and September 2020 within the
international summer student program. HZDR is a German research laboratory
with about 1000 employees located in Dresden. The research conducted at
HZDR
covers a wide range natural sciences focussing on physics (www.hzdr.de).
The summer students will work in one of our institutes on predefined topics
and will be an integral part of a research group. The tasks range from
hands
on operations in the labs to data analysis, scientific computing and
theoretical science. The program is completed by a series of lectures and
lab tours as well as social activities. During their stay, the students
will
live in the HZDR guesthouse and receive financial support.
